Normally I tweet away from inside the little blue bird, but
today I’m on a field trip! At the official site of Sansen: Great Siege! Three Kingdoms x Sengoku Cross Battle!
Alright, here’s the pre-registration link for the game we’re introducing today, Sansen: Great Siege! Three Kingdoms x Sengoku Cross Battle!

So then, have you gone ahead and pre-registered~?
… … … (cue the infamous sobbing-politician pose)
Alright then! Let’s start over properly!
Future castle lords, meow-dy! I’m the PR Cat!
For some reason, today I’ve been dropped onto the great battlefield where legendary warlords cut each other down
the world of Sansen: Great Siege! Three Kingdoms x Sengoku Cross Battle!
Because, believe it or not, the other day…
your PR Cat got to tag along on Explosion’s promotional video shoot, meow!
I’d like to write up a report on it (more like a last will and testament at this point)…
But where should I even start?
With the PR Cat’s first cry in Miyagi?
Or with the time the PR Cat was mistaken for a stray and hauled off to animal control?
… Hey, amore, you over there reaching to close the tab because this looks long! Don’t worry!
Apparently there’s some presentation secret that says “smart people narrow their key points down to three”… or so I’ve heard.
And so!
This intellectual PR Cat will narrow the memories down to three, and even wrap them up as haiku for you!
1. [The two of them — Sanada and Kongming — suit it too well]
This time,
Machaaki = Zhuge Liang (Kongming)
Obara Yoshio = Sanada Yukimura
dressed up as these characters for the PV and photo shoot!
Just look at this flawless mastery of the costume.
Even fashion models would be stunned.
It suited him so well that even Obara-san’s hair somehow looked a little redder, just like Sanada’s…
Hm? His hair was already red? Sorry, can’t hear you over here…
2. [Huh? A blackout — sounds like there’s a fire in Golden Gai]
Believe it or not, a fire broke out in Golden Gai during the shoot!
Yoshimoto’s head office lost power, and we ended up having to reschedule the shoot for another day
that’s the kind of trouble we ran into…!
So the shoot ended up being split into two sessions,
which meant the PR Cat got to go see Explosion again,
and got way too excited about it — but that’s a story for another time…
to be continue
3. [The cat drew it — a whiteboard — now barely visible]
Nyaaaaaaaaan (cries)
I worked so hard drawing the logo,
and drew both Sanada and Kongming with all my heart…
and I even got the two of them to sign it…
Waaaaaaaaah!
Anyway, stuff like that happened too, but hey!
It was such a fun set to be on!
And get this!
This time we even got a comment from Explosion themselves!
PR Cat:
Meow-dy! Let’s dive right in — was there anything that left a strong impression on you overall?
Explosion:
I’d say the thing that stood out most was how great the photo shoot felt, haha.
Thanks to the super high-energy PR Cat, we were able to shoot with more excitement than ever before!
And then there was even that incident where a nearby fire caused a blackout… but getting to meet again because of it made me feel like it brought us closer together!!
PR Cat:
Sorry for all the meow-meowing racket (bowing in apology).
And the PV with the original choreography you did for us this time was wonderful!
Was there anything you struggled with, or any highlights we should look out for?
Explosion:
We got to play the characters Sanada Yukimura and Zhuge Liang (Kongming),
and they’re total opposites — Yukimura is manly, while Kongming is more delicate and feminine.
It was fun to play both, so I think that contrast is the highlight!
I also think that’s part of what makes this app itself so interesting!
PR Cat:
Exactly! Having such strong characters is what makes this game appealing!
This time you two brilliantly expressed that through the photos and the PV,
so finally, could you give us a comment about the shoot, meow!
Explosion:
We were able to stay pumped and full of energy throughout the whole shoot!
Thanks so much to all the staff for creating such a positive atmosphere on set!
I wish we could’ve tried even more characters too, haha.
PR Cat:
Nyaaaah!! I’m sure you’d suit other characters too~!
Explosion, thank you so much for everything!

The original title these two dressed up for, Sansen: Great Siege! Three Kingdoms x Sengoku Cross Battle, is
all about wars between nations! In other words, it’s a battle, meow! A red-hot fight, meow!
Even the PR Cat’s blood is boiling, and my body’s doing the Dance Dance Revolution, yo!
Which means…
even crybaby Kongming has to stand up against a swaggering, tough-guy Sanada…
There it is, a punch!
Yeah, yeah, get him…
Gyaaaaaaah!
As expected of the genius strategist!!!!!!! What a cunning mastermind~~~~~!!!
(They were kind enough to let us take even a photo like this)
Just kidding!
As you just heard from the two of them,
this is a game packed with strong characters and rich gameplay!
Please be sure to check out Explosion’s video,
and don’t forget to pre-register for Sansen: Great Siege! Three Kingdoms x Sengoku Cross Battle too, meow!
The banter between the characters is a must-see too ♡
And finally, everyone, join in with us!
